Honey with Turmeric: The Most Effective Antibiotic That not even Doctors Can Explain

Turmeric is one of the most popular spices all around the world. It is used in many cuisines thanks to its flavor, but it has also been used in ancient alternative medical practices for centuries. The spice has a unique color and flavor and has mainly been used against digestive problems, minor cuts and wounds, muscle sprains and gastric issues.

Even science has confirmed most of turmeric’s incredible health benefits. According to studies, the spice and its active compound curcumin can reduce inflammation and treat various digestive problems, and some experts claim that curcumin can also assist in the prevention of cancer. The spice has antibacterial and antifungal properties and can treat a wide range of bacteria.

Studies have found out that curcumin can help cells survive in cases of severe inflammation and protects the DNA as well. It affects over 700 genes in the body and treats over 160 health problems, and thanks to the anti-inflammatory properties, the spice can treat inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis.

According to some experts, turmeric can also treat respiratory problems, liver problems, neurological problems and autoimmune disorders. Thanks to the presence of a compound known as turmerone, turmeric is considered a potential natural cure against Alzheimer’s disease. Turmerone can boost the brain function and help repair the brain cells, while also inhibiting the accumulation of beta-amyloid plaque in the brain, which is considered one of the main factors for Alzheimer’s disease.

Thanks to the powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, turmeric can assist in the treatment and prevention of numerous types of cancer, including breast, liver, stomach, lung and colon cancer. Dr. William Lavalley says that turmeric doesn’t work like chemotherapy and affects only the malignant cells, leaving the healthy ones untouched.

Although powerful on its own, turmeric works even better when mixed with honey. The combination of turmeric and honey can fight various bacteria and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, which will treat numerous health problems. Here’s how to prepare the mixture:

Ingredients

100 gr. of honey

1 tablespoon of powdered turmeric

Preparation

Mix the ingredients in a glass jar, then take a teaspoon of the remedy every hour if you’re fighting the flu or a cold. During the second day, take a teaspoon of the remedy every couple of hours, and the next day, take the same dose 3 times. Don’t swallow the mixture immediately – let it melt in your mouth or add some in your cup of tea for best results.
